Dr. Natasha Taylor
DVM
Dr. Natasha Taylor was born and raised in Richmond, Kentucky. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2020 and has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families ever since.
Dr. Taylor is passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and partnering with them to support the health and well-being of their pets at every stage of life. She has a special appreciation for small breed dogs, particularly Chihuahuas, and enjoys helping them live long, happy lives.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and kayaking, as well as relaxing with a good book. She shares her home with two beloved Chihuahua mixes, Sky and Storm, who continually remind her why she chose a career in veterinary medicine.
Dr. Karen Smiar
DVM
Dr. Karen Smiar has worked in veterinary medicine since the age of 16 and graduated from The University of Edinburgh in Scotland in 2023. Since then, she has focused on small animal general practice and urgent care.
She recently moved to Lexington to be closer to the outdoor climbing community (her favorite hobby outside of work). She also enjoys the opportunity to explore a new city in her freetime.
